The most exciting game of round 9 in the Liga MB took place in Santa Tecla. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th rankedIndependiente (2-5) to fourth ranked Santa Tecla (5-3) 103-100 on Friday evening. Santa Tecla forced 19 Independiente turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Santa Tecla made 7 blocks. It was a good game for who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 7 assists. contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners.
